ANGLE IRON

Designed by architect Simon Thornton, DC Building undertook this ambitious extension project with the fun and challenging curved roofline. The impressive structure is clad in Hoop pine plywood both indoors and outdoors, creating a completely unique design feature that carries through the entire home. Polished concrete floors run from the inside to the out creating a true multi-use space.

The broad custom-built barn doors run on exposed rollers, allowing areas to be closed off or opened up at the residents’ leisure. The exterior of the property features black vertical Colorbond, perfectly contrasting with the cedar window frames.
